Scary Movie going to far

Horror movie are a big part of ours society and some people think its going to far. However I don't dislike all movies; horror movie which have some kind of plot are ok but movies like Hostel where the point of the movie is to be sadistic and cruel. Now during Cloverfield several people wanted to throw up and eventually left the theater.

Now I haven't seem Cloverfield and base no prejudge again it. But movie like Hostel are sick and twisted.

Bush's last chance

Bush says that there will be a Middle East peace agreement by the end of his term. Just recently he has visited Israel where he is going to bring peace between Israel and Palestine. Bush has no new proposals or solve Israel's dilemma. Several hours before Bush arrived the Israeli president and the Palestine president already decide on more treaty in the region.

Wow, Bush's time is running out and he think he is superman and can solve the problem he has partially created. Now, I’m not talking about Israel. Bush he neither help nor assist Israel in any way until now. I’m talking about Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan. I personally don't believe he will change anything and possibly make something worse.

I think that Bush's legacy will continue to be follow by his contributions to the Iraq war. And amusingly I think that in 15 years there will be a movie named "Bush' War." Also think that Bush has made the first eight long years of 21 century go in loops. He will be remembered as a president who has contributed nothing but ignorance.

12/21/07 X-mas correctness

Roland S. Martin says that we should put Christ back into Christmas. That instead of happy holidays is should be merry Christmas. No more holiday tree only Christmas tree. Martin thinks that this political correctness is absurd. Martin does not discriminate against anyone but the holiday season is meant for Christ. This is a time of love and joy we shouldn't be fighting we should united.

I COMPLETELY DISAGREE (except the unity part). It is only fair to mention all the holidays by saying happy holidays. Why should we exclude any religion or even over emphasize some religion. The name "holiday season" doesn't exclude anyone and doesn't emphasize anyone either. And what is wrong with that.

I think the Martin along with his supporters are being elitist. They think that since Christianity is the largest religion and has been celebrated in America the longest it should be emphasized that it’s the Christmas season not the Holiday season. I strongly believe that each holiday during the holiday season is EQUALY IMPORTANT. Yes I am saying that no matter which religion is older or celebrated by ore people.

12/14/07 evolution

Scientists in the Hapmap project which is mapping the human genes, has discovered that the human evolution process is accelerating. Many believe that there are minor differences every thousand years. Many believe that the evolution will be an advantage instead of a disadvantage.

I believe that we are all evolving and that we are geting weaker for the future. During the Dark ages we were able to process raw meat. Today humanity is a bunch of wimps. I something have to happen such as the next ice age we would not be prepared.

I don't know what kind of genetic evolution we will get. I might be an extra thumb. But I hope for a CO2 sucking Tentacles then maybe we have a chance against global warming.

12/06/07 Putin's rein

Putin, Russia's current president has won over the united Russia party by a landslide. This is bad news for people who want Putin out of Russia's affairs. This is also bad for free-journalists everywhere. Since Putin is leaving office he has figured out a way to keep controls of Russia. Putin has been widely ctisized for allowing things go like Livekentco's death and the death of other free-journalists.

I believe that something should be done about this. The pakistani president tried the same thing but in a more radical way. I believe that is will lead to Putin being dictator.

I also believe that the U.S should intervene because such a control of power in bad especially in Russia. Which has had its dictators. Putin needs a reality check saying that he can rule forever.

11/30/07-current event

The Teddy Bear which messed with Islam.

In Khartoum, Sudan a British schoolteacher is now in jail. Because of allowing one of her student to name a teddy bear after the M-word (Mohammed). She was arrested under charges of blasphemy. She now has to suffer 15 days in jail. Neither of the child's parents had any thing wrong with the name. They found it to be a common and normal name. The Sudanese government said to the U.K that they will be in good care.

1. It is amazing how this got so far. I guess Sudan forgot about its genocide and decided to start imprisoning people for blasphemy. I sure hope no one names a teddy bear Mary, Jesus, or Joseph. Or they are due to some time.

2. Why would the Sudanesse govenment care in the first place. The parent are alright with it. And that should be the major defence. Plus, its not like the teacher forced the child to name his teddy bear after the M-word (Mohammed).
